Inspection Services
Home inspections performed by ErnDae Property Inspections are visual, non-invasive evaluations of readily accessible systems and components at the time of the inspection. The inspection is intended to identify material deficiencies that are observable within the agreed scope of services.
Inspection Limitations
A home inspection is not technically exhaustive and cannot reveal every existing or future condition of a property. Inspectors do not move personal belongings, perform destructive testing, dismantle systems, or inspect areas that are unsafe or inaccessible. Certain environmental, engineering, code-compliance, insurance, and other specialized conditions may fall outside the scope of a standard home inspection.
Specialist Evaluation
ErnDae Property Inspections provides general home inspection services. When conditions warrant further evaluation, clients may be advised to consult an appropriately qualified or licensed specialist.
Inspection Reports
Inspection reports are prepared for the client who ordered the inspection and are intended to document the inspector’s observations at the time of the inspection. The report is not a warranty, guarantee, appraisal, prediction of future performance, or recommendation to purchase or not purchase a property.
Third-Party Use
Inspection reports are intended primarily for the client’s use. Any third party relying on an inspection report does so subject to the terms and limitations of the applicable inspection agreement.
Payment and Scheduling
Fees, payment requirements, cancellation terms, additional services, and other inspection-specific conditions are governed by the inspection agreement and scheduling terms provided to the client.
Inspection Agreement Controls
Clients scheduling an inspection will receive a separate written inspection agreement. If there is any conflict between these website Terms of Use and the signed inspection agreement, the signed inspection agreement controls with respect to inspection services.
